A blonde hairdresser in Southern California is the latest to ditch the trend, and it’s not just because of the color.
In fact, her new hair looks like the princesses.
The blonde haired salon owner, who asked that her name not be used for fear of losing her job, said she’s trying to get people to stop the dyeing of their hair.
“When I started out, I just thought, ‘Oh, it’s going to be like this and I’m going to dye my hair and be like the Disney princesses,'” she said.
“But then I noticed that there was more color and I was like, ‘Wow, I’m really going to have to start thinking about how I’m putting it on.'”
The hairdressing salon owner said she dyed her hair blue to match her Disney Princesses’ blue eyes, hair color, and other accessories.
She said she doesn’t want to get the same reaction to her hair, and that people can get it dyed as they please.
“I don’t want people to think, ‘What the hell is this?
It’s just a waste of time,'” she explained.”
They’re going to think it’s something bad,” she said, adding that her customers have been happy with the color of her hair.
Hair dye is a popular trend among many Disney fans.
But, for the blonde hairliner, it doesn’t come cheap.
Her dye job cost her about $600 a piece.
She said she hasn’t paid her bills yet, but she hopes to one day.
She also hopes to get some other people to switch to blue ombres, a more traditional hair color.
