Some vitamins, like B12, are important for normal cellular function.
Others, like vitamin B13, are crucial for cell repair and cell proliferation.
Vitamin B13 supplements are recommended for people with a vitamin deficiency or who are on a very low-dose of vitamin D, because they are more effective at preventing damage from UVB radiation.
If you have skin conditions like rosacea, dark circles under your eyes, or freckles, a deficiency of vitamin K2 or B12 is a common side effect.
And although most vitamin supplements have been around for a long time, many of them are still only available in a few prescription drugs, including the popular Advil and Motrin.
People can also find vitamin C in some food supplements, like the Vitamin C in Soybean Powder and the Vitamin E in the Green Tea Caper.
Despite its high toxicity, vitamin C also has a number of health benefits.
It helps protect against many diseases, including breast cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and psoriasis.
According to the American Institute of Nutrition, vitamin D is a natural antioxidant and has anti-aging, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory effects.
Vitamin C has antiinflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Some contain B1, while many don’t, which means that some products may have higher toxicity than others.
